Did you know that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM)? In 1985, The American Cancer Society spearheaded a national campaign to bring awareness to breast cancer. Today, October is recognized as the month used to bring awareness to the disease, and raise funds for research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to honor brides who for one reason or another aren’t able to get the dress of their dreams. We have picked some wonderful dresses to give away for free. To potentially get one, we just want to hear more from brides and their journey.
Some brides might have just lost her wedding dress in a recent hurricane. Maybe they are personally burdened by the increasing costs of breast cancer treatment and are seeking relief in other cost areas.
We hope that through this giveaway brides-to-be will share our passion for funding breast cancer research, education, and advocacy by participating in their local breast cancer community and spreading the word about what we do and the work of our charity partners: Living Beyond Breast Cancer and The Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition.
If you are interested indirectly impacting breast cancer causes for October, please check out how you can help Living Beyond Breast Cancer and The Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition.
