Fenae’s Journey to Find the Perfect Dress

Fenae’s journey to find the perfect dress was one of love at first sight. After searching without luck at two previous bridal salons, Fenae found her dress at Brides Against Breast Cancer (BABC). A friend of Fanea had the opportunity of buying a dress from one of BABC’s nation-wide touring bridal shows of years past and recommended that she look at our organization. After looking at our Facebook page, Fanea set up an appointment with our Sales Manger, Samantha Gullion, for a fitting. Through curating a selection of dresses for Fenae, Samantha included a strapless fit-and- flare Casablanca gown. When Fenae saw it, tulle and all, she knew it was the one.

“It was even more amazing when I tried it on,” explained Fenae, when recounting her experience finding her dress, “and I went ahead a tried on additional dresses. But it was the one.”

Traveling all the way from Alabama, finding the perfect dress was such a relief. Fenae admits it was late in the planning process before she found the dress. With wedding planning being such a stressful endeavor, it is such a relief to check a major task off the list before your big day.

“I’ve already told friends about Brides Against Breast Cancer and classmates who are all getting married,” continues Fenae, “It feels like everyone is getting married and everyone knows someone looking for a dress. Supporting such a great cause is reason alone to visit BABC. Not only is the organization supporting an amazing cause, but also BABC has a wonderful selection of affordable dresses.”
