Returns & Exchanges

Our policy is to make each customer happy and provide exceptional customer service. We manage each situation individually with the goal of resolving problems quickly, respectfully, and fairly while keeping our customers happy. If an issue arises, we are ready to help you find the best way to make your dress fit well and look great.

To start the conversation when problems arise, we kindly ask that you:

  • Contact Brides Against Breast Cancer about an issue within five (5) days of receiving your dress and receive your Return Authorization Number (RMA); $50 restocking fee applies.
  • Returns can not be accepted without an RMA# issued from BABC
  • Refunds will be issued within seven (7) business days after receipt of return in acceptable condition

Brides Against Breast Cancer cannot accept returns for garments that have already been worn or altered.


All apparel and accessories orders are subject to a twenty-four (24) hour cancellation policy. If Brides Against Breast Cancer receives notice of your cancellation within this time, a full refund will be processed back to the form of payment used to secure the order as long as the order has NOT shipped to the customer. If the order has shipped prior to the cancellation request, please request an RMA# and a return label will be sent. In order to cancel your order, please e-mail or call (404) 698-1000.

Brides Against Breast Cancer Lay-A-Way Policy

The down payment required for the Brides Against Breast Cancer’s (BABC’s) layaway program is 10 percent of the purchase price. The maximum duration is six months. Participation in the lay-a-way program requires automatic electronic funds transfer via square, bank, PayPal or similar method. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

If a layaway account is canceled before paid in full, and within the first 90 days after initiating the lay-a-way plan, the items are returned to inventory, and all monies are refunded, minus a cancellation fee equal to fifty (50%) of monies received. If layaway items are canceled 91 days after initiating the lay-a-way plan, or if the customer has not paid the balance due by the designated deadline, the account is canceled and all monies forfeited. The BABC Returns Policy applies to items purchased through the lay-a-way program.

Damaged Items

All merchandise must be inspected immediately by the customer. Damage Claims must be made within five (5) days of delivery. If you think you have a damaged item, please contact us at   or call us at (404) 698-1000. A customer service representative will help you return the items for a replacement. The original packing slip must be included with your returned damaged merchandise.

We highly recommend that you return your merchandise via common carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc) who will provide you a tracking number. Items lost during shipping will NOT receive credit as an accepted return.

A Note on Sizing

We are here to help you feel confident in your purchase.  If you fall in between sizes, a Brides Against Breast Cancer Bridal  Consultant may recommend that you order to your largest measurement. This is because having a dress taken in is easier and less expensive than having it let out.

Wedding Gown sizing is very different than street size. If you normally wear a size 8 in clothing from a store like Ann Taylor or Marshall’s, you will probably wear a size 10, or even a size 12, in a wedding gown. This is industry wide. Wedding dress sizes are usually 2 sizes larger than your street size. No bride-to-be’s body is perfect, no matter how much we all might wish for it, alterations are to be expected.
